Name: Devil Bookie
The Story:
Devil Bookie, a felt bookmark, first surfaced in early 2007. The inspiration behind it came from those book-burning days, where books were considered evil. Being a reader myself, I don’t consider books evil. However, it made me wonder if evil lurks between the pages in books instead. Hence, Devil Bookie was conjured from the ashes.
Well, OK, not ashes. The only ‘hell mound’ it cometh from was my bedroom back in Kuching.
This wickedly cool bookmark is hand-sewn in felt and a length of ribbon for its tail. It only comes in one color: Bright Red. And a devilish grin, of course.
Fits perfectly well in a standard paperback, where you will see the horns peeking on top and the tip of the tail at the bottom.
Measurement: 11.4″ (horn to tip of tail) x 2.4″
